13,000 Square feet

Vantage Builders completed construction of the NEMA class 1 food processing and storage facility in the historic Haffenreffer location in Jamaica Plain. The project consisted of renovating an existing 13,000 s.f. shed which included a new 3,000 s.f. cooler, warehouse and malt processing room. With all new MEP’s, slab, insulated panels and waste drainage system the old “Red Shed” provides much needed space to the growing Sam Adams brewery. As a result of the expansion, Boston Beer was able to gain the space needed to build a new gift shop, tasting room and service area for the popular public tour center.
